Spoken Word Open Mic w/ Feature Teller. For Adults

Come to the Walnut Street Coffee Cafe for the best in poetry, storytelling, jive talking and community. Sign up for your five minutes of fame on the open mike. The sign up opens at 7:00 PM with the actual talking kicking off at 7:30 PM.
Speak Up has a three obscenity minimum. Speak Up is a free speech zone. Say what ever is on your mind. We are always looking for our next featured performer. It could be you. Cafe limited to 42 people. Pass the hat for the Feature.

Expresso Open MicExpresso Yourself Coffeehouse

The Expresso Yourself Coffeehouse is an opportunity for spoken word artists to share their poetry, stories, and songs. It is held the last Saturday of every month at 7-9 PM at First Parish Unitarian Universalist in Medfield, MA. Each month has a different theme. Teens and adults welcome to participate or listen. We have 12 open mic slots of 5 minutes each; staying to the theme is encouraged. Then our feature tells for about 40 minutes. We pay a small stipend to the feature. All events are filmed by Medfield TV and available at a later date on youtube. Suggested donation is $5; students $3. Refreshments by Starbucks of Medfield.

Tea & Tales is a monthly event that is held on the last Tuesday of each month. Doors open at 7pm. Stories begin with an open mic at 7:30pm. A featured storyteller begins after a short break at 8pm. Refreshments are available and Donations are gladly accepted.
