Raymond, New Hampshire
Shelley began her storytelling career forty years ago when she started doing storytime programs at The Portsmouth Public Library.
Since her retirement eight years ago, she has expanded her venues to include several local day care centers, nursing homes, schools, and libraries. She has even performed on a moving bus tour with New England Coach of Raymond. Shelley has also performed on local television. She has performed the evening ghost story program with The White Mountain Storytelling Festival, The Granite State Story Swap, and The Corner House Inn dinner storytelling event.
She is a member of NHSA, and locally with The Seacoast Storytellers Guild. Scary stories are her favorite tales to tell, but she also enjoys stories with women and children as clever heroes.
If you are looking for a Mr. and Mrs Claus Christmas program, Shelley and her husband Dick do Christmas story programs that include songs, crafts, stories, and of course gifts presented by Santa Claus.
