The Keynote Address
Three Stories You Need to Trash If You’ll Ever Be Free
“Borders” connotes separation. But what has separated us and why? Sue O’Halloran’s keynote address helps us make sense of present day conflicts by understanding history’s lingering effects. Together we will reflect on the power of story to separate or connect.
We will look at how to stop society’s stories that limit everyone as well as explore how to manage the false borders our own minds create. We will also talk about what works: how diverse people have always come together to create positive change. By rejecting guilt and embracing inspiring responsibility we will re-energize our commitment to crossing borders and crafting a narrative of a world that works for everyone.
