As always with Sharing the Fire, there are many options available to participants … something for everyone. Please review the programs on the “Conference Details” page and the information on this registration page carefully to discover what’s right for you.
The full conference includes all workshops, events, and performances from Friday evening starting with the conference opener at 7:00pm and concluding with Sunday lunch. The meals that are included are the Saturday banquet, the Sunday breakfast buffet, and Sunday lunch. The Full Conference price does not include the pre-conference intensive on Friday or the Sunday afternoon performance. (Member – $265/$250 early bird, Non-member – $325, Fulltime Student – $130)
The Saturday-only conference ticket includes all workshops, events, and performances on Saturday and also the Saturday banquet. (Member – $165, Non-member – $210, Fulltime Student – $55)
The Jumpstart ticket includes the three Saturday workshops only. It does not include other Saturday performances, events or meals. It is perfect for someone with limited time or a limited budget. It is also perfect for the beginning storyteller. (Member – $100, Non-member – $125, Fulltime Student – $30)
The Friday afternoon intensive is designed for those who want to delve deep into a particular topic. This four hour workshop is not included in the full conference or Saturday-only conference tickets. (Member – $60, Non-member – $100, Fulltime Student – $30)
Stories Galore Option for Story Listeners
This is the first year that we have a conference offering that is designed just for story listeners! This registration is similar to the Full Conference and Saturday-Only Conference listed above with the notable exception that registrants will attend the Stories Galore performance sessions rather than the workshops. The Stories Galore strand include stories performed by a diverse group of storytellers. Many of the stories will relate to the conference theme. It will also include one or two fringe performances. Stories Galore is ideal for people who love to listen to stories but don’t necessarily want to learn how to become a storyteller. It is perfect for spouses of storytellers! (full weekend – $150, Saturday only – $100)
Tickets for Individual Performances
Separate tickets may be purchased for the Friday Night Concert, Saturday Night Olio, and the Sunday Afternoon Concert. When purchasing, please be sure that the Friday Concert and the Saturday Olio are not already included in the conference packages that you are purchasing. The Sunday Afternoon Concert is not included in conference packages and must be purchased separately.

Sunday Afternoon Charlot Lucien Storytelling Performance – $20/$10 students
The goal of the Sharing the Fire Committee is to create an outstanding storytelling conference which meets the professional development needs of the storytelling community in the Northeast. Though the registration fees are lower than other conferences of similar nature, we understand that it is still a large financial commitment for some folks.
